The Steak Pit

We frequent Ruths Chris and Steak Pit often. We are obsessed with their salad (mix the Italian dressing with the home made Blue Cheese). Steak is always delicious and we often appreciate SP more than Ruth's Chris.

This is all about steaks. Server very good, knows what she is doing, trout very good but steamed asperagous a little bland. All the guys really liked their steaks.

Best steak I have ever had the pleasure of eating. Delicious food without breaking the bank. Would visit again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.

My family coimes to the Steak Pit at least once a year. I have subsequently tried about half the menu at this point and I've never been disappointed. Their steaks are good, as is their salmon. Don't miss out on their salads, as their homemade dressings are to die for. obvious by their name, they don't have many vegetarian options. Their rye bread is top notch, and they have THE best homemade blue cheese dressing I've ever tasted. I recently travelled to Minneapolis--a city famous for its blue cheese--and I still prefer Steak Pit's.Steak Pit also has a pet porcupine that enjoys dinner right outside your window. If you're lucky, you may just meet it.The location is as fantastic as their food. Snowbird is a place everyone should visit--though I'm glad they dont. The small crowds and wildflowers are what keep me coming back.

Some of the best steak in the world. It is definitely an experience to be there.

Delicious. I had the 8 oz. Filet. It was gorgeous. Our server Brendan was great. My wife had a New York strip, she was pleased. I also had roasted carrots they were surprisingly tasty. No complaints.

Pricey but great food and service.

The quality of food and service was outstanding. Steaks perfect, side dishes delicious. Scallops with bacon fabulous. This is a pricey restaurant, and portion sizes are small on appetizers but spot-on. I would certainly recommend it.

Went to the Steak Pit on a Friday night after a quick hike to Cecret Lake. Eric, who I believe was the manager on duty, greeted us as soon as we came in. He was so friendly and personable and offered to seat us outside. We chatted for a bit and I felt so welcome while talking with him. Our waitress was also so friendly and amazing and gave us great recommendations (including the Rose wine- get it!). I had the filet and asparagus, and my date had the king crab legs and cheese potatoes. Everything was so perfect- the steak rivaled one I had at a top rated restaurant in New York. We were the only ones out on the patio and Eric came to check on us, and went out of his way to make sure we were warm enough and moved one of the heaters closer to us. The evening was perfect, the service was outstanding, and so was the food. I hope they know what a special night they made for us. We’ll be back soon.

Great event for Christmas

Price value is a bit off, service also was slow. It took a long time to get our food. Server was extremely friendly and pleasant.

This was my first time eating here and everything was amazing! I definitely recommend the jalopeno potatoe skins. They were just perfect! I also got the 13oz Ribeye and it was just amazing. Cooked exactly the way I wanted it, fresh sides, and my server Heather Baker was on point. She suggested everything to me, my table was clean, and my drink was always full. Definitely worth coming to eat!

Straight forward steakhouse in the Gondola base at Snowbird. All the steaks we're prepared as and cooked properly. Unlimited salad is a nice touch.

Most reliable meal at snowbird

Ordered the wagyu top sirloin.... It was around $33, and one of the most chewy steaks I have ever eaten. Would not order again. The salad and side dishes were good. There is a resident porcupine the staff named Larry who you can see walking around at night through the windows.

Came here for our hunnymoon dinner. It was fabulous. We own a condo up here for years but this has our first time eating here. While eating we had a surprise guest.

Ribeye is amazing and staff are friendly. I took away a star because my side of veggies (cauliflower and carrots) were served so al dente they were basically raw. Otherwise a great dinner.

Good food, but a bit pricey.

Amazing steak and sides. The service was awesome. I was happy with this place. The chefs were accurate with how people wanted their food cooked. Everyone got what they asked for. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a good steak.

Some of the best steak in Utah, definitely in the best setting!

I know it sounds silly, but I really love just getting the salad here. It's nice and fresh and the homemade dressing are great.Can't go wrong with the steak either of course!
